Caring for a child with special needs requires patience, experience, love and dedication. At Community Care Inc our pediatric nurses and aides exemplify these traits. We understand the challenges facing families with special needs children because we are not just temporary staff taking care of your child, we are mothers, fathers, and grandparents ourselves, and we pledge to be there for you and your family.
Community Care Inc
currently cares for over 40 families with special needs children in
Pittsburgh
and it's surrounding Counties. We are a locally owned and operated
company, so you will not have to deal with the hassles of working with a
large national company. And what's more, Community Care is
experienced and big enough to provide the kind of care your child
deserves.
Our pediatric case managers work individually with you and your child's
physician to create a care plan that suits your child's individual
needs. They also take special care when selecting the nurses
and/or aides that will be caring for you child. Finding the right
fit between caregiver, patient and family is as important as the care
itself.
You can be certain that when a Community Care nurse or aide enters your
home, that individual has gone through a rigorous screening process that
includes but is not limited to: License Verification, Criminal
Background Check, Drug Screen, Child Clearance, Reference Checks, TB
Screening and multiple interviews. All home care nurses are
required to meet a minimum experience level set by Community Care Inc
before working with any of our pediatric patients.
